Whom do we award?

Institution Awards

  • Which provides rehabilitation services, remedial and educational and vocational training.
  • The Institution should preferably a “Not for Profit”.

Criteria for Selection 

  • Its effectiveness to utilize the inherent potentials of individuals to increase their productivity, self independency, leading to joyful and calm demeanor .
  • Adoption of new technologies and Equipment and techniques for therapies
  • Creative methods used for imparting services
  • Outreach services and programs made for sensitizing the community regarding rights and equal opportunities for the disabled.
  • Financial sustainability (50% of expenditure is internally generated and 50% from donations)
  • Employment opportunities achieved.
  • Number of persons treated

Individuals with Special Talents and Skills Award

  • A person who demonstrates special capabilities in Sports, Arts and Music.

Criteria for Selection

  • Recipient from economically disadvantaged category be given a preference.
  • Cash Award can be in form of payment of fees for training and furthering the special talent.
